Facebook (FB) is keen on turning its social media application into the live game streaming platform in India.

The sole reason for this strategic decision, is an increase in the numbers of users accessing the 'Gaming Tab' on FB.

Valve updated its guidelines to officially ban all blockchain-based games - cryptos & NFTs - on Steam.

This decision comes at a time when blockchain gaming & the NFT industry have exploded in value & popularity. This could be a huge set back in the current market for Valve.

FIFA plans on ending the long-term exclusive partnership with Electronic Arts.

With the ISL transfer window round the corner, the clubs have initiated clearing the dues, to be able to sign new players. However, such bans hit the goodwill of the clubs & can affect their new signings.

2 ISL players, Matej Poplatnik [Kerela Blasters FC] & Jhonny Acosta [SC East Bengal], have filed complaints against their respective clubs, before FIFA for non-payment of salary in accordance with the contract.

Successful complaints may result in a warning; or reprimand; or fine; or a ban from registering any new players for 1 or 2 entire & consecutive registration periods [Art. 12bis(4)].
One way for the clubs to reverse the ban is by clearing the dues of the players [Art. 24ter(2)].
