It was a gutsy decision that we debated on and off for a while but we decided it was time to take a chance and explore the opportunity that we were granted.
We didn’t know exactly how it would go but we knew if we were ever going to do it, the time to try was now!
😮We can’t believe it’s already been 1 full year!!!
Today marks exactly 1 year since we left Canada 🇨🇦 and decided to ship all of our 📦 belongings in a sea crate, buy a couple one-way plane✈️ tickets, and move down to Australia. 🇦🇺

@spartanwanderer We can understand that. Have you used the app All Trails when hiking? We’ve found it has helped us a lot when looking for hikes and finding the trailheads.
@rbphilip Good question. Not knowing whether you’ll really enjoy a destination or not is a fine balance. Is there anything you do to help yourself decide?
@SteveK157DFC Always! It’s the worst. We want to see so much and yet we only have a limited amount of time. Choosing what to prioritize is always a challenge too.
@ForeverLostInT2 We see this is quite a common issue. We travel so far and want to fit as much in as possible, yet we run out of time doing so. I think it’s always important to remember to balance that with taking a moment to enjoy where we are as well.
