Thursday Smedley Park Cheetham Hill
All sessions are FREE and will run from 5-7pm

Join Abraham Moss Warriors in the local parks over the summer for Free fun includes den building, dodgeball, cricket, rounders, parachute games, hide and seek and much more
Please bring a water bottle , snacks provided aged 8 and over
Thanks to the Cheetham and Crumpsall Neighbourhood Investment fund for helping make it possible we also did picnic in tbe park at Smedley on the Saturday
Last weekend Abraham Moss Warriors celebrated its 25th year anniversary.
Thanks to everybody who made it extra special from local Cheetham and Crumpsall councillors, M.P.'s , deputy Mayor, 2 ex Lord Mayors, past and present players and parents, Sponsors , Manchester FA
and Street Games who presented June, the clubs founder, with a lifetime achievement award
Also special thanks to all the coaches and volunteers as well as players as none of this would have been possible without you all.

In 2016 we worked with NASA and the British Space Agency with special thanks to Heather McRae and took part in Mission X Train to be an Astronaut and came first in the world and some of the Warrriors children went to Cologne to meet astronaut Tim Peake ,which was amazing and

In 2016 the club expanded from a football team to a hub of the local community offering a variety of sports and educational sessions

The club has enabled so many young people to make new friends, get fit and learn important lifeskills as well as enjoying the beautiful game.
We also were awarded the Queens Award for voluntary service the equivalent of an MBE for community groups

As we continue to look back on 25 years we look at all the amazing achievements made between 2005 -2011
Since the National Rule change in 2005 the clubs numers spiralled from 100 to over 400 players a week the club went on to win several local and National awards
We also won several league titles and tournaments and our first players were getting signed for pro Academys
We got to spend a day at the David Beckham Academy and also a day with the England National Football team in a behind doors session before watching them play at Wembly
