Youth sports dads. The only two kids from our local little league that went d1 were the two best players by far and away. Batted 3/4 in the LLWS. Pitched as much as they could. Hit walk off home runs and struck out 10 on espn. If that’s not your kid that’s ok. Just enjoy the ride
‼️ THIS IS A REMINDER TO ALL HS BASKETBALL PLAYERS‼️ Summer is where you separate yourself. Stay disciplined. Get in the gym an hour a day. That’s all you need. You will separate yourself. Look at your screen time… you got an hour to spare.
My daughter's last day of high school was today. In her senior English class, her teacher had all of them sit on the floor and said "You start off in kindergarten sitting on a rug for story time, and I thought you could finish that way, too." Then she proceeded to sit on a chair and read them the book "Oh the Places You'll Go."
It happened again.
An 11-year-old threw more than 160 pitches over a weekend because adults decided winning mattered more than arm care.
#Youth baseball has a responsibility to protect kids — not sacrifice their future for Sunday trophies.

Overprotected kids become unprepared adults.
Dawn Staley nailed it.🔥
You can’t shelter your child from every hard moment and then expect them to handle adversity when it counts.
Hard is the lesson.
