US is imposing visa restrictions on hardline members of the TPLF and their immediate family members. This visa restriction policy targets individuals who are responsible for, or complicit in, undermining resolution to the crisis in the Tigray region.

As the rainy season arrives, the hand of kindness we extend to our people grows longer with it. Today, we officially launched this year's rainy season volunteer campaign in South West Shewa Zone, Goro District, Gurura Village, where 20 homes will be built per our rural corridor initiative design.
It is only when we extend a hand to one another that we lift our country together, which is why I urge every Ethiopian to join this effort!

"There should be a clear, categorical, & uncompromising message from the international community that the steps the TPLF & its backers in Asmara are taking to tear up the Pretoria Agreement in a violent & potentially irreversible manner are unacceptable."

What we set out to achieve in three years, we have accomplished in less than two. Since the launch of the 5 Million Ethiopian Coders Initiative on July 23, 2024, Ethiopia has reached 5,005,146 enrollments across Programming, Data Analysis, Android Development, and Artificial Intelligence fundamentals. This is our testament to our people's determination and limitless potential.
This milestone is not where our ambition ends, it is where it accelerates further. With 7 million enrollments by August 2026 firmly within our vision, I call upon every Ethiopian to be part of this national mission.

Following our Council of Ministers meeting we visited a housing development demonstration site featuring construction that is both exceptionally modern and driven by highly accelerated technology. On this single site, three modern construction methods were simultaneously deployed: 3D printing, light steel prefabrication, and container housing. Each stands as living proof that premium-quality homes can be delivered in a matter of days and weeks, rather than months and years, demonstrating that speed and quality no longer need to be compromised when the right technology is embraced.
This caliber of innovation has the power to fundamentally alter the trajectory of our national housing program, offering a model that can easily be deployed, replicated, and scaled across every corner of the country. We have seamlessly aligned advanced technology with our national vision. Today serves as tangible proof that we are moving decisively in the right direction!

1/2. Ethiopia Has Decided!
Ethiopians from all walks of life came out in large numbers, stood in line for hours, cast their votes, and left their mark on the democratic progress of their beloved country, despite coordinated campaigns to belittle their democratic aspirations.
This morning, following yesterday’s 7th General Election, we officially opened the transformative Entoto to Kechene Medhanealem Riverside Development Project.
This landmark initiative has revitalized the heart of our capital, transforming once-degraded landscapes into vibrant green spaces through advanced soil conservation, river purification, and fruit parks seamlessly integrated with pedestrian and cycling trails.
Spanning a total riverside development corridor of 22.25 kilometers, the project stands as a tangible symbol of our progress and a practical demonstration of national growth, environmental restoration, and urban renewal.
People staying on the line to cast their vote even after a mid-night must be perplexing for outsiders who were busy propagating propaganda last few days.
The message is loud and clear: Ethiopia’s destiny is decided by its own people — not by outsiders, not by fake narratives!
Today, over 54 million Ethiopians undertook a patriotic duty of deciding what is best for their country, through their vote. Disproving naysayers from right and left.

The people of Ethiopia are an extraordinary and remarkable people. Other than the Creator, who can truly know and assess our people in their entirety? Through this year’s election, Ethiopians have once again shown the world that they are a people with a rich culture, deep patriotism, and the ability to safeguard the common good.
On this historic day:
* Citizens who were not intimidated by the cold and darkness of the night,
* Who were not deterred by the midday sun or sudden rain,
* Whom weddings, funerals, childbirth, and other social obligations did not prevent from participating,
* Who were not wearied by long lines,
* Whose physical disabilities did not stop them from casting their vote,
* Those whose illness and old age did not prevent from witnessing the hope of their country,
* Who were not exhausted by carrying their infant children; the future inheritors of the nation,
* And above all, whom the shouting and threats of enemies could not intimidate or stop;
The perseverance you demonstrated amid many challenges and hardships, against all odds, was a contribution made for democracy and for the very survival of the nation. For this, you deserve heartfelt gratitude.
It is a privilege to serve such a people. Therefore, may those who have been elected honor the trust placed in them and serve this people, with integrity and sincerity! A people who have paid a great price for the democratic system. May you be worthy of that responsibility.
