Even a 1% efficiency increase matters at Bitcoin's scale. ASIC Ultra Boost's ~17–24% scheduler-level saving dilutes to a few % net J/TH — but at ~18 J/TH across the ~950 EH/s network, just a 1% reduction in J/TH will free ~171 MW, equivalent to ~1.5 TWh/year, equivalent to ~$75 million/year.
