The true turning point for Carmilla came when she saw Emily from Heaven saving people. For she truly witnessed that Heaven was not just empty words, but showing sincerity—as a Seraphim, Emily was willing to save the inhabitants of Hell, which is why Carmilla stood up to help Vaggie. And when Emily was the first to stand up, ready to use her own power to destroy the angelic weapons, and Princess Charlie’s team was also willing to sacrifice themselves to protect Hell,

Carmilla’s certainty turned into awakening. Her willingness to sacrifice herself to protect the souls that Heaven wanted to kill was exactly the belief she expressed in Season 1 with “Whatever it takes.” She was willing to commit mistakes for the ones she loved, which directly echoes the “My Little Pony”-like spirit at the end of Season 2: fearlessly sacrificing to save Hell.

That’s why, besides Charlie, she was the first to stand up and offer her help. Of course, Zestial followed closely behind, singing with her, which also represented his support for her. When the oldest surviving Overlord of Hell supported the leader of the Overlord Council in sacrificing themselves to save others, the other Overlords truly joined in.

I truly don’t think anyone realizes that Clara, Odette, and Vaggie have always been the ones Carmilla shields behind her, telling them to run or keeping them out of harm’s way. But Zestial is the only one whose sole purpose in standing behind her isn’t to be protected by her—it’s to step forward and stand with her. He is the first demon who stands behind Carmilla yet firmly makes it clear that he isn’t someone she needs to protect, but a guardian just like her, and the one he guards is Carmilla herself.

When Carmilla chose to take a desperate gamble to help the Princess of Hell save half of Hell's population from explosion, who was the first to step forward and support her? It was Zestial. This is the third victory.

When Carmilla had a change of heart, no longer fearing but believing in her own strength and seeing the truth clearly, who, after all the other overlords had gone home, stayed behind specifically to hold her and walk back together? It was Zestial. This is the fourth victory.

And in the endless years to come, who will stay by her side, never leaving her, taking care of her? Comforting her? Giving her a strong reliance, and guarding her daughters with her, so that she no longer has to fear that the other person will die easily? It is Zestial. This is the fifth victory.

As for her ex-husband, he is dead and gone forever, but Zestial will live on eternally. This is a complete and total victory.
