THERE WAS A MAN
"There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe." ~ John 1:6-7

Folks, from the passage quoted above, we saw a man who was sent by God called John. By a simple cursory look upon the passage, we will discover that it was not John's intention nor will to appear at that strategic time. It was not John's plan, he was sent and for that matter, he was sent by God. Just as it was with John, it is same with every man that comes into this world.

As God sent him, He engraved upon the tablet of his heart with a mission statement. This engravement upon John's heart flows deeper even into his blood vessels, his bones and his marrows. It was this same God's defined purpose for John that made him have a single heart with a single mission. It encapsulated the entirety of his thought and sight; it forms the vision of his heart and the substance of his existence. It forms his essence of living. John is a WITNESS! John's mission is simple and clear - he, a herald! He was buckled with a mission to make Jesus known in his days. We can summarize John's life thus: he altered the status quo in all the Kingdoms that be in his days just as his master desired!

Friends, let me ask you these questions: are you aware that you are also sent just as John was? Have you discovered your mission statement? Do you have the blueprints of our existence? Are you heading the right direction in walking and fulfilling the essense of your existence? Or better still, do you even know why you are here? These are destiny discovery and defining questions. If you do not have clear answers to these questions, it is very obvious that you are on the fastest moving train to nowhere.

Beloved, it does not end here; I bring to you words of hope and comfort. Awake thou out if thy sleep, be at God's doors knocking: knock and He always open His doors to as many that seek Him. Ask Him about your purpose on earth. Diligently seek His face, for in so doing your life will find bearing and meaning. Stop living without purpose, none of us is without life's purpose. Henceforth, cease to be living by chance and in all sense haphazardly. Discover yourself in God.

Finally, we are all called to be witnesses of Him. Understand the scope of your placement as a witness. Discover your area of witness, stay therein and make exploits. For in doing this, God is so pleased.

May God's grace and mercy be multiplied. Amen
