An 80yr old neighbour of ours needs a Gall Bladder removed.

He’s been told the waiting list on the NHS is 90 weeks.

90 weeks.

He is looking to having to go private as doesn’t want to put his life on hold for nearly 2yrs.

The NHS should be for people that have paid into the system, everyone else should have to pay.

If we have to take out medical insurance when we go abroad then anyone coming to this country should have to do the same & go private.

It’s shocking that UK Citizens are treated this way when they’ve worked all their lives.

Police have arrested five men on suspicion of rape after reports that a woman was attacked at a property in Ipswich.
Suffolk Police confirmed five men, aged 27, 31, 35, 44 and 49, had been arrested on suspicion of rape and remain in police custody for questioning. An investigation has now been launched into the "serious sexual assault" which is alleged to have happened in the early hours of Sunday.

Loved ones of Jessica, 16, are growing ever more concerned after her disappearance on Thursday, July 16.

Greater Manchester Police previously said Jessica had been seen at Granada Park, in Denton, at 7.15pm that evening.

But in a major update issued today (August 2), GMP said Jessica was seen getting off a bus at Piccadilly Gardens at 8.25pm that night.

She had boarded the bus from the Windsor Road area of Denton, GMP said. A new CCTV image, showing Jessica on a bus, has also been shared this morning.

ASYLUM SEEKER CHASED MAN WALKING HOME BEFORE RAPING HIM

An illegal immigrant chased a stranger walking home from work before dragging him into a doorway and forcing him to perform a sex act.

Rida Awof, 30, of Croft Street in Salford set upon the man, who was in his 20s, in the early hours of January 31 last year.

The victim was making his way home from a night shift when he was approached by Awof, who tried to start a conversation.

He ‘continually harassed’ the man, police said, as he followed him.

Awof pressured the man to go home with him and ‘perform sexual favours’, before becoming aggressive.

He chased his victim across a main road, before dragging him into a doorway and forcing him to perform a sex act.

The terrified man ran away, frantically trying to flag down passing drivers and a cyclist but nobody stopped to help.

Awof caught up with the man, before kicking and punching him.

A nearby security guard then stepped in and protected the victim.

Forensic analysis of the man’s clothing matched a partial DNA sample from a previous arrest, leading officers to identify Awof as a suspect.

He pleaded guilty to oral rape at a hearing at Minshull Street Crown Court in May.

He was sentenced to six years and four months

He was told that he must serve a minimum of two thirds of that sentence and then he will face deportation.
