We are now forced to close intake and not help anymore cats until we find homes for the adoptable cats in our care. We literally have no more space and I'm having to say no to cats who will die without us.
all these kittens are still here.

URGENT foster needed for 2 senior cats who were abandoned by their owner, now shut down in a kill shelter and about to be euthanized if I don't tag them tonight
Do you have a room for them to decompress? They are confused and sad. Fostering will save their lives.
🚨BREAKING: iShowSpeed’s Africa tour has dramatically changed global perceptions particularly in the United States.
Millions of fans are now realizing how mistaken their views were, with several creators openly expressing embarrassment after confessing they truly believed most African countries were still made up of huts
once again reminded that humans cannot kill the planet in a way that matters. oh, we could render ourselves extinct and do a lot of surface level damage to the flora and fauna but even if we set off every nuke simultaneously, the Earth would recover in less than a century lol
You know what, I've lost weight both ways.
When I was younger, I lost 50 pounds over one summer. I cut out basically all carbs, breakfast, and only ate normal amounts of meat and veggies. Worked a physically demanding job.
I lost the weight, even as my bodied screamed at me, every survival instinct insisted I was starving to death.
Now that I'm older, I work a job that actually pays, but doesn't keep me physically active. I can't tolerate starving myself like I used to.
GLP-1 agonists quiet down a gnawing drive to eat at the back of my mind. Leave me feeling full much quicker when I do eat. Without that hunger driving me, I stop to ask myself if I even want to eat that next bite.
Losing weight is far easier, and doesn't feel like I'm fighting my own survival instincts.
I'm not mad that other people don't have to put the same suffering in to lose weight, I'm just happy it can be so much easier for them and me.
