@viiraxetv …but to suggest they’ve catered too much to PvP at its expense is baffling. The other side of this is that the recent changes make HG a playable mode for crews who don’t win 90%+ of the time. I’m not sure any PvE content is more valuable than that.

@viiraxetv The problem I have with this take is that the only “catering to PvP” was one season of much-needed hourglass quality of life changes and a broken LSS mode. Before that, we had Devils Roar(S18) and Smugglers(S17), both PvE. Of course we need great PvE content…

@Wermux I’m sure they don’t hate the community but Jesus Christ it was five doubloons in loot that is otherwise useless to anyone playing longer than six months. Just keep it in and let us be excited for something.

@SlothyBearr @SeaOfThieves I also wish they’d convert Skull of Siren Song to give doubloons and be much rarer - I think it would rejuvenate that event and make it a doubloon war. Would fit well with how they seem to be positioning doubloons.

@Stavi_G @BarDiDar It’s still nice to have consistent rewards for those who do participate in the game mode. I imagine some might grind a bit more if there were more frequent rewards for progression, or any sort of reward for playing.

@BarDiDar Love the idea, but would want to define participation to exclude loss farmers as much as possible. I don’t even want to penalize legit losses, just those who emerge and do nothing.
