I guess I don’t really have the answer to the rate at which GT can expand its facilities, but considering its acceptance pool has at most grown by 475 (article in one of my other replies) in 5 years, it’s worrying.

Now I’m using GT as an example here (I got into other, still very good engineering colleges), but this is a phenomenon being seen everywhere.

I’m sung GT as an example here but in the article their acceptance range is 465 students. Over 5 years they grew their bottom line by 465 students…

I’m not actually mad about being denied from GT, there’s some extremely genius people that I’m not one of. However, generally speaking, there is a trend of American colleges getting hyper competitive and selective.

Both are phenomenal applications but that extra bit makes this guy the 0.1% and that other student is cut off from getting that top tier education. It’s unfair and GT absolutely has the means to expand its program.
