@YourGOATsBurner@esidery Vanderbilt and Knecht make a combined 16.5M next season not 5M( not sure how you came up with that so please explain) JV also has a player option for the following season. Which he will almost for sure pick up. JJ won’t even play JV he’s been so bad.

@RTG920@esidery The other thing you bring up that’s important to talk about is not that Utah might not match a max, it’s that they could and the waiting period puts that team in a really bad spot while they wait. Becauee it’s big gamble to have a max slot dedicated to someone that mayget matched
@RTG920@esidery The offer they made is team friendly and they know for the reason I mentioned before he’s not going to get an offer from anywhere else. So eventually he will sign with the Jazz and they can trade him which is why they would be compensated for the valuable asset.
@RyanWardLA Need them both back. But for Luke JJ needs to find a way to get him more involved. At no point did he get the open looks he should get with any combo of Luka bron Austin next to him. If JJ won’t run plays for him then lakers shouldn’t bother.
@ESPNLosAngeles@VeniceMase@ScoopB Lakers not giving up all that draft capital that is now even more valuable than it was 2 weeks ago before the rule changes for AD who only played 20 games or something.
@RTG920@esidery Will be off the board and the Jazz could simply match and the lakers have nothing and no one to go after. There’s a reason RFA’s don’t just leave their current teams. A first and a swap is actually a good deal for the lakers since this deal also offloads negative assets JV/DK
@RTG920@esidery I’m going to assume you don’t understand how restricted free agency works. If the Lakers send an offer Kessler all of that money is tied up until the Jazz make a decision to match or not. While the money is tied up the lakers can’t move on. While they are waiting other FA 1/2
Luka led the Lakers in steals per game 1.6 (105 total) in 64 games. Second was Jake Laravia with 104 steals but took all 82 games to get there. Let’s also talk about offensive load. Luka lead the entire league in first quarter scoring. 1/2
