• Esketamine ⬇️ postop delirium in tonsillectomy
• Pre-op paracetamol: IV before KTS or oral 30–60 mins prior
• NSAIDs safe at appropriate dosing – no ⬆️ bleeding risk
Gastric US:
• GLP-1s: 80% “fasted” children = full stomachs
• Uses including for non-adherent fasting to avoid delays/cancellations
