Para los pollos en la industria de la carne, no hay escapatoria al sufrimiento y la muerte que los rodean. Solo pueden resistir hasta que sus cuerpos colapsen o los maten en el matadero.

Wayne Hsiung, the animal rights activist facing 31 years in prison for his role in the Ridglan Farms beagle rescue, has published a detailed plan to target Marshall BioResources in North Rose, New York, which he describes as the Death Star of vivisection.
MBR is believed to house around 20,000 dogs and 40,000 other animals including cats, ferrets, and pigs. Hsiung says it supplies approximately half of all dogs used in experiments across the United States, making it larger than all other suppliers combined.
Leaked footage from the facility showed beagles thrashing against inhalation masks during training for toxicity experiments. Some dogs were used in phosgene gas experiments, a chemical weapon banned under international law that killed 85,000 people in World War One. Dogs subjected to phosgene slowly drown over many hours as their lungs fill with fluid.
Hsiung's plan calls for rescuing every animal at MBR by the end of 2026 through political pressure, mass mobilisation, and if necessary direct action. New York Congressmember Nick Langworthy has personally visited the facility and expressed support for its closure.

I’m sure they will share the footage as proof 🤔??!?
A supermarket chain has explained how its delivery driver ran over and killed a group of baby geese despite having taken several "cautious measures" to try to avoid them.
Co-op launched an investigation after a post on social media spread rapidly which claimed its employee "intentionally" ran over the goslings crossing a road near a nature reserve in Cornwall.
After the incident on St Andrew's Road, at the entrance to St Andrew's Nature Reserve in Par, near St Austell, witnesses claimed the supermarket worker purposefully drove over the birds after allegedly becoming impatient waiting for them to cross.
They said three died on impact at around 9am, with their remains strewn across the road in a heartbreaking scene, as one was rushed to the vets, where it sadly had to be put to sleep. The incident was also reported to the police who are investigating.
But on being asked about the incident by CornwallLive, the chain said this couldn't be further from the truth.
Co-op launched an investigation, including viewing CCTV footage from the vehicle and said the version of events shared on social media was not an accurate portrayal of what happened and that the driver was devastated.
A spokesman said the driver "took cautious measures to avoid" the baby birds "stopping twice and manoeuvring into the opposite lane where safe to do so" but they "then moved into a blind spot and changed direction at the last moment".
In a viral post to social media following the incident, which sparked outrage with more than 5,000 comments and more than 13,000 likes, the scene appeared to look different to a local woman who wrote: "The worst part of it he let one set of the babies cross then waited, second set of babies got confused so people got out the cars to guide them to safety, he then got frustrated and chased the babies away from there parents and ran four of them down."
She called the driver "cruel" and "inhumane" but Co-op said the CCTV footage actually shows the driver waiting for the brood to cross and that he did not see them change direction at the last minute.
A spokesperson for Co-operative said: “Following our internal investigation, including a review of forward-facing vehicle footage, we can confirm that our driver took cautious measures to avoid a group of geese crossing the road, stopping twice and manoeuvring into the opposite lane where safe to do so.
"The birds then moved into a blind spot and changed direction at the last moment as the vehicle began to move again, resulting in this unfortunate accident. We are saddened by what happened and understand the upset this will have caused to the community.”
Devon and Cornwall Police said it is investigating.

Baraka's mic drop moment.
He's one of the older boys at our Voi Reintegration Unit for orphaned elephants in Tsavo, and he had just finished his midday milk – two bottles like the rest of the herd, every three hours, day and night.
Most of the herd hands the bottle back politely. Baraka, apparently, prefers to return his with more attitude.
We pioneered the rescue and reintegration of orphaned elephants, and a big part of that is years of hand-fed bottles of milk so they have all the essential nutrients they need to grow. Up to 24 litres of special formula milk a day, for each one of them.

Coco wasn’t doing anything.
She was simply sitting peacefully when a speeding vehicle ran over her and drove away.
For nearly two hours, she fought for her life before succumbing to her injuries.
An FIR has been registered. Accountability must follow.
Legal action must be taken against those responsible, and serious questions need to be asked about the repeated cruelty cases being reported from Lodha Amara.
No animal deserves this. The accused deserves the strictest punishment.
