Standing by and getting ready to support @onwardwelearn this @401Gives at 6:00:00 EDT. Join me in helping young people be the first in their families to attend and complete college.
After a failed FAFSA rollout, time is running out for an entire nation’s worth of high-school seniors to access financial aid. The effect on college attendance threatens to be worse than the coronavirus pandemic was. @TheAtlantic

Important view here from the Boston Globe, adding momentum to the national movement to ensure students in financial need don't get jammed by May 1 enrollment-decision deadlines as a result of FAFSA delays. Flexibility matters.

Colleges & universities should extend the deadline for students to commit from May 1 to June 1. No student or family should have to rush to decide where to go to college without knowing exactly how cost and other factors will affect them in the long-term.

.@pvdschools at 8 am on Thursday I received a robocall that my son's school is closed tomorrow due to heat? Is that really for Friday or just bad robocalling?
@the_transit_guy En vessie. There was a memorable Iron Chef episode, the Christmas episode in 1998, when one of the competitors made turkey in a vessie. It looked awesome, but definitely not on any menu I'm visiting.
Rather than working to protect kids, @HouseGOP wants to ban them from playing sports.
HR 734 is a harmful, hateful bill that is part of a larger, sinister campaign attacking trans kids for political points. It's shameful and wrong and must not be allowed to become law.
