@czue Cursor's online agent has a preview of a grind mode which tries really hard for a long time which I found pretty useful for a big refactor.
today I found it interesting to work on a mix of long running and quick turn based tasks.
🥳 And that’s a wrap! Thanks to everyone who joined our “Build With AI – Practical Uses of AI” workshop on May 17, in person & online.
🙏Special thanks to @_jkimani, @Ngesa254 & @APBunge.
🙌 Shout-out to LeWagon Cape Town, @JetBrains & @Google.

You can tell a lot about a developer based on their prompts. I wish I could code review the prompts they used to create the PR. Giving mentorship at the prompt level has high impact potential
Al is like rocket fuel for coding. We rack up tech debt faster or pay it down faster.
But given AI's current trajectory soon it will be able rewrite the mess you make. So what do you do?
Prototyped this today. It is auto-completed suburbs in the context of the user’s prompt. It's a complicated feature with tons of edge cases. I can't imagine building this without AI's help
14 hours later, and we have a fully working product! Coding has never been this fun! The speed at which you can move with Lovable is incredible.

@czue Whenever I feel like I'm doing something with code that I shouldn't I often ask the LLM for its opinion and if there's a better way. I've been challenging myself to ask better questions to the LLM. That said, it would be nice if it did what you're suggesting
@czue Perhaps not a SPA but I quite like Nextjs. It's quite opinionated but they pretty good opinions. It makes sure that you're always thinking about performance and what you're doing on the client vs the server.
@czue@gorn1 If I hadn't got it for that price I would have felt cheated and potentially change vpn providers... I'm not sure if there's a learning there for your case
@czue@gorn1 I recently had to renew my Express VPN licence. If I renewed it from my account I would have paid $9.99 per month. But I googled and found a deal page on Express VPN's website for $6.99 and was able to renew it at that price.

@brucebusiness is there any chance you'll record an audio version of your last 2 books? I'm dyslexic and struggle to get through books in text but I am a ravenous listener!
