End of an era. Ms. Masanek has been here for years engaging thousands students and bringing history to life. Here’s the announcement of the winner of the last constitution-idol. Retirement may be good for you but we’re not happy about it. @FCSDNews
There is a good reason for the waitlist for Ms. Ramos’ class. Today, students were tasked with following a recipe as a team BUT one member was blindfolded, one couldn’t hear, and one couldn’t speak. Teaching more than just cooking, our students are learning how to communicate.
Excellent choir concert last night! Even with technical difficulties students were able to perform and sounded great!! Mrs. Massie obviously prepared them well!! @FFCrossroads@FCSDNews
Turns out lots of people still like Winnie the Pooh! My Tigger was not quite as believable as some of the students…
Lots of great costumes today. My personal favorites were a Dill pickle and an ear of corn. @FFCrossroads@FCSDNews
Ms. Gonzalez knows how to make math fun! She was able to showcase students’ knowledge of circles while tapping into their creative side. We are lucky to have her on our team! @FFCrossroads@FCSDNews
Our very own Nurse Debbie has come up with a brilliant plan to allow students to remain in class while she will come to them! Thanks for looking out for our students Nurse Debbie. @FCSDNews@FFCrossroads
Final day of locker removal. We found some great stuff! Phenomenal pictures, an old game ticket, and my personal favorite this behavior check in/check out. The student didn’t have a great day. Evidently, he came into social studies with mud on his shoes. @FCSDNews
Today in the vault of our 44 year old lockers we found; a hall pass from 1981, an original David Harding trading card from 2002, and a discipline referral for Don from 1993. Twice in 2 weeks Don?! Get it together! @FCSDNews
In today’s locker time capsule; Mr. Polson was a real stickler about names on locks…Nikki scoring a 93% on her octaves test. (although the tone was a little fuzzy) and it seems Mark had good attendance despite having a bit of an attitude. Hope you straightened that out, Mark.
Crossroads (Fairfield middle) will be replacing our student lockers after being in use for the last 44 years! The treasures we found today are below....Steph, did you end up going to Doug‘s game? Do you think United Skates of America will still honor this voucher?? @FCSDNews
Over the next several weeks Crossroads (Fairfield middle) will be replacing our student lockers after being in use for the last 44 years! We will be posting a few gems that have been found behind them. Can anyone help us identify these students?? @FCSDNews
