Last week, Chief Davis joined the Barton Hills Neighborhood Association (BHNA) community meeting on January 27. She provided a detailed update on APD’s ongoing response following the officer-involved shooting in Zilker Park 6 (six) months ago.
Thank you to everyone who came to ask questions and stay engaged with local safety. Keeping our neighborhoods informed and addressing community concerns directly has always been one of our top priorities.

Our crews have been responding to multiple collisions due to icy roads. Last night, a patrol vehicle with an officer inside was struck by a pickup that lost control. Thankfully, everyone is safe.
