Max Larson went out strong with a fantastic last high school state track meet for Shawnee Mission HS. Larson won the 6A boys 1600m with a new state meet record time of 4:11.70. One of the best races of the meet as Larson was able to edge out Olathe South’s Dylan Plath by .01 seconds to get the record and the title. Larson also won the 3200m race for the second straight season with a time of 9:01.39. #sportsinkansas
