We had a budget approved in July 2020.... this should have been a set aside in the budget. I guess the budget was approved with the expectation of receiving federal stimulus $$. Very sad situation for NYC. City council, Mayor and Comptroller should be held accountable.

The Governor's announcement today is not an approval of NYC's plan. NYC school leaders do not yet have enough info & guidance to reopen their buildings. We have asked and have yet to receive answers to many questions that we believe are critical for the safe reopening of schools.
