Exciting news: New pathways to chartered status are now live!
We’ve made some key changes to our Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) standard to make your journey clearer and more accessible while maintaining the same level of rigor and excellence that defines the chartered standard.
Firstly, we’ve renamed our chartered routes to pathways. In addition to the name change, we’ve introduced a new pathway (Pathway 3) that recognises validated professional practice built globally through qualifications and experiences in organisations across the profession. The APM Project Management Qualification and the Project Management Institute’s Project Manager Professional® certification are both approved recognised assessments for Pathway 3.
Here are our new pathways:
✅Pathway 1 (previously known as Route 3)
✅Pathway 2 (previously known as Route 1)
✅*New* Pathway 3
✅Pathway 4 (previously known as Route 2)
With four pathways now available, you can choose the one that best suits your journey to becoming a Chartered Project Professional – a globally recognised benchmark for project professionals.
