Our message is clear: rising costs and a high tax burden are holding back a sector that drives jobs, growth and vibrant high streets across the UK. 1/2
As members of the APPG, we have written to the Chancellor regarding the urgent need for Government support across the sector.
Without targeted support, the sector risks a slowdown that would jeopardise businesses & jobs, particularly in areas already facing economic deprivation

As Chair of the APPG for Hospitality and Tourism @APPGHandT, I have joined colleagues writing to the Chancellor regarding the need for business rates reform and the burden currently placed on hospitality businesses.
We will continue our important cross-party work to champion the causes critical to hospitality and tourism.
