As Chair of the APPG for Hospitality & Tourism, I’ve coordinated a cross-party letter to the Chancellor ahead of the Budget.

Our message is clear: rising costs and a high tax burden are holding back a sector that drives jobs, growth and vibrant high streets across the UK. 1/2

As members of the APPG, we have written to the Chancellor regarding the urgent need for Government support across the sector.

Without targeted support, the sector risks a slowdown that would jeopardise businesses & jobs, particularly in areas already facing economic deprivation

Vice Chair of the Hospitality and Tourism APPG, @CarolineVoaden, spoke in today's Westminster Hall debate on the cliff edge businesses will face in April when business rates relief is cut.

We need to see action in next weeks Budget to bring certainty to hospitality businesses.

At the inaugural meeting of the APPG for Hospitality & Tourism, @ChrisWebbMP was elected as Chair, and @DamianHinds, @CarolineVoaden and @DanAldridgeWSM as Vice Chairs.
