In these work packages, we will be conducting 4 patient surveys to test the psychometrics of the PROM in the context of both short-term and long-term surgical outcomes, as well as within a clinical trial. (2/3)
We also sought valuable additional feedback from our PPI panel and patient advocacy group reps. Thank you once again to all of our participants and everyone working with us to help develop the APPRAISE PROM. (3/3)
We are pleased to have completed work package 2 of the APPRAISE study. ✅
We completed 27 cognitive interviews with patients to assess the user acceptability of the first version of the new PROM, and a further 9 follow-up interviews following modifications to the PROM. (1/3)
We worked with a PROM translation and linguistic validation expert and a team of translators to ensure the PROM has cross-cultural applicability and can be easily translated into other languages. (2/3)
