https://t.co/vP56igBLRM app v3.0.0 is out! Offline maps featire included in the Extra Features subscription! OSM data. Direct download in the app. On Android and iOS. #hamradio
Version 2.11.0 of the https://t.co/vP56igBLRM iPhone & Android app is out! As a new feature it allows blocking messages from a station. There have been some annoying spam and autoreply issues recently. #hamradio#aprs
the station info view every 30 seconds (and you can pull down to refresh immediately). Selected station got red dots on received positions on the map, and raw packet views have visual cues to indicate they can be expanded to get a decode of each packet. 2/2
https://t.co/vP56igBLRM for Android v2.10.3 is out! Good bug fixes in subscription state changes & messaging notification subscriptions, and a few smaller improvements. The search view refreshes data quickly after appearing, and 1/2 #hamradio
Version 2.10.1 of the https://t.co/vP56igBLRM iPhone / iPad app is out! Some folks had in the past complained (quite correctly) that the Beacon view was a bit of a mess. It's now redesigned to be bit cleaner, with a folding Settings section, similar to Android version. #hamradio
Ooh, new dumpster-dived servers for https://t.co/vP56igBLRM! 512G memory each, newer CPUs and faster disk controllers. Keeps the https://t.co/vP56igBLRM Android and iPhone apps flying!
Version 2.10.1 of the https://t.co/vP56igBLRM Android app is now available on the Play Store! A bunch of bug fixes, mostly for usage with a TNC / directly attached radio, but a couple of other enhancements too. Spread the word! #hamradio
@hirschnase The Android app is still brand new and it’s all new code, and quite a lot of features, everything that’s been done in iPhone app during 13 years. A few bugs are still lurking for sure, but I’ll fix them as they surface.
Plenty of APRS activity in #hamradio2026#hamradio too! Here's a little demo video of the new TNC & Beacon status bar on the brand new https://t.co/vP56igBLRM Android #aprs app. If you're in Friedrichshafen, please tell your friends!
@hirschnase I think there is some quirk in the station profile synchronisation still, it sometimes gets confused with the first initial station profile and then works alright once it is set up right. Have to dig into it more! Sorry about the trouble.
Version 2.10.0 of the app is out! Map now has TNC and Beacon status lines, when the features are active. Status row displays the most recent received/transmitted packet, and a list of digipeaters which last repeated a transmitted packet. iPhone or Android?? Both! Spread the word!
@SSummersell The release frequency of the Android app is a bit higher than the iOS app currently. That's simply because the Android app is brand new, has a lot of new code to implement all the features, and due to that, more new bugs to fix.
@SSummersell The iOS app is available here: https://t.co/8FPrHM0eU0 - go get it while supplies last! The most recent version is just a couple weeks old, with KML & GeoJSON Overlays as the new feature (no Extra Features subscription required for that).
