The NucleoTNC is an open implementation of our commercial product, the TNC3, designed to encourage experimentation and learning in amateur radio, electronics, digital signal processing and software engineering.

I am really excited to see the TNC4's latent M17 features on display. See Jeff, AE5ME, demo of the MSEVEN app, created by Greg, W5GGW, using a TNC4 for M17 voice over the air.

https://t.co/vP56igBLRM is now available for Android (v11+)! All the features of the iPhone app and a few more. Buy the app and get the web site for free! Do read the application description before purchasing. https://t.co/YS9LsWao6s #aprs#hamradio
We now have TNC cables designed for the Yaesu FTM mobile radios. We also have the MiniDIN-6 adapter (CT-164 equivalent) and a MiniDIN-10 bare cable (CT-167 equivalent).

TNC4 firmware version 2.5.14 has been released and the User Guide has been updated. The TNC will indicate when its audio input is being overdriven. PTT lockup on iOS when 2 or more apps are attached is fixed. 9600 baud modulator and #M17 demod is improved.

These changes are now released. As part of the ongoing repo re-org, the NucleoTNC firmware now has its own Github repository. The fine frequency adjustments to the ADC and DAC timers works pretty well.
Should have a firmware update to the NucleoTNC out soon that improves #M17 performance. The oscillator is off by about 100ppm due to the way MSI PLL mode works. Micro-adjustments to the ADC and DAC timers can bring that to within 4ppm. Also, a DC offset bug is fixed. #hamradio

While we love selling our aluminum NucleoTNC enclosures, the fact that there are two distinct 3D-printable NucleoTNC enclosures on Thingiverse is so heart-warming to see. #OSHW
A huge "thank you" to all those that contribute to #opensource#hamradio.

The #hamradio NucleoTNC repository is being split into 3 separate repos. The PCB, spacer, and enclosure KiCAD files are now #OSHW licensed under CERN-OHL-S and available here: https://t.co/0k0FhXFLC4
If you have a Rev B NucleoTNC board and want to use it for M-17 data, swapping out C1 & C2 for 22uF 16V+ caps is recommended. This is one of the changes on the Rev C board & schematic.
Easy modification to an #STM32 Nucleo32 board to allow SWO debugging while preserving LD3 functionality. This allows using SWO when debugging the NucleoTNC (https://t.co/tY0YGMdmG3). #hamradio
Here is an update for the special #UVK5 firmware I've been working on supporting #hamradio digital modes (flat response) to fix an issue with frequency drift caused by varying DC bias on the BK4819's MIC line.

I have misplaced my Nooelec NESDR in the move. I am relegated to using a backup #rtlsdr, one without a TCXO which drifts like crazy. It's got errors in the 55-65ppm range depending on which direction the breeze is blowing. #hamradio
