We love when our students give back! Just before graduating from Midtown High School, a few seniors visited David T. Howard Middle School for a powerful “big sis/little sis” mentorship conversation.

Students engaged in conversations about honors coursework at Midtown and shared their experiences with 8th-grade girls about academics, leadership, balance, and future college pathways!

The discussion was full of honesty, encouragement, and connection, with students offering real insight and inspiration. What A meaningful full-circle moment for many of our seniors and a strong step toward building lasting mentorship between schools!

Maynard Jackson High School joyfully welcomed Mrs. Valerie Jackson as a special guest for the inaugural Maynard Jackson Week, a celebration honoring the groundbreaking legacy of Atlanta’s first African American mayor.

Mrs. Jackson spoke with students and staff about her husband’s lasting impact on the Atlanta community, the values and experiences that influenced his leadership, and the causes he believed were most important. Ending the school year with loads of fun, Heritage Academy went out with a bang during their Field Day & Safe Summer Kickoff Celebration! ☀️🎡🎶 From relay races and tug-of-war to carnival rides, music, and performances, scholars enjoyed a day filled with excitement, school spirit, and community pride. In partnership with Lil Bankhead and MYDJDRE, the celebration also encouraged students to have a fun, positive, and safe summer.
