@AvilezMelec@pedroabacateiro@_NagatoroFan_ If they do make an announcement in September, it's likely they may be aiming to release the season itself in January or April 2027, as the VA comments give the impression that the anime has been secretly in production for a while, but time will tell.
@_NagatoroFan_@pedroabacateiro Indeed.
Most don't know this, but King Records also celebrated the 5th anniversary of another anime in July, and the 20th anniversary of Toradora.
None of those celebrations look anything like what they are doing currently with Nagatoro; this one is being given royal treatment.
@pedroabacateiro@_NagatoroFan_ The campaign as a whole started in July, and it's set to end in September (7th), so a season 3 announcement, if there is one, will only come after that (possibly on the 7th itself or 8th, the next day).
@_NagatoroFan_ And, if you notice, they removed the S1 marathon video, but forgot to remove the S1 standalone episodes, meaning that fans can still binge-watch the entire thing.
There have been some bumps on the Youtube management side of things, but which shows human hand, which shows effort.
@FatSnorlaxOG Actually, I had said 9 PVs, but there are only 6 PVs, meaning that Saturday should be the last one unless they have something else planned for the upcoming weekend.
That means at least 4 empty days next week, so looking at their backlog, they could be posting about the music PV.
@Penguindeno@SnakepitSk64718 That's what I personally believe it is, and there is strong evidence of this, along with Crunchyroll likely being one of the strongest backers or part of the committee now, but we will have to wait and see.
@FatSnorlaxOG Yep, probably they're going to do the 9 PVs until Tuesday next week, and then no idea what they will fill Wednesday with, and from Thursday onwards it will be about the last Anileap takeover and the end of S2 marathon, and then... let's hope it does go where we think it will. π
@_NagatoroFan_@nagatoro_tv Indeed, a bit over 900 for S1, and then around 1500 for S2 (started at around 700, then from the middle to the end it was steadily within 1300-1500).
It was really cool to see, and even Japanese fans found other fans, not even they had realized how much of them were fans.
@AvilezMelec I think the committee has already been past that point, and this campaign as a whole is likely to be an announcement for an actual season that has already been in production for a while, there's a LOT of data to back this up.
Let's see what happens in these next 2-3 weeks. π
