@Morris_Monye @The_Zizer Not a flaw. Moving him to the secure room down the hall was the best move. VP was grabbed quick but they had to move him through the hotel. He was much more exposed and that’s something they can’t afford to do with POTUS. Also immediately separating the two is needed for COG.

Preliminary and unconfirmed from DC cop friend:

The shooter never got through the Secret Service security perimeter.

The Secret Service engaged and neutralized the shooter outside of the mags.

The security worked as planned and intended.
