05/18/26 is SLP Day! Communication disorders are among the most common conditions, affecting tens of millions of adults & children in the U.S. SLPs, through intervention, help individuals communicate effectively and experience positive social/ academic success.

#TeamSISD hosted a Celebration Day at Pebble Hills High School, recognizing students across the district in the Individualized Learning Classrooms (ILC) program. Centered around the theme “It’s a Beautiful Day in Our Neighborhood: A Celebration of El Paso,” students took part in engaging, El Paso–inspired activities designed to support their individual strengths and abilities. The event created an inclusive environment where every student could participate and enjoy meaningful experiences!
