@GBNEWS Also, a meteor could hit planet Earth in the next 10 years, just because someone says something inconceivable, doesn't mean it will happen. The wager should be whether the EU exists in 10 years...
@robertsessford1 ...Yep, and applying the principle of don't bite the hand the feeds...and all that...while claiming to be the party of the working people...
@SimonJonesNews This has to be the best taxi service in the world, unparalleled in existence, and would even beat (hands-down) the, "If Carlsberg did taxi services..."... Labour are only disappointed, they wouldn't be able to do better...
@MahyarTousi The HRA 1998 (UK) has only been around for 20 odd years, so it's not like something has to be dreamt up in a rush...plus the Supreme Court would be the final court for HR matters (if the ECHR no longer had jurisdiction, for whatever reason), and the SC is more than capable...
@GBNEWS Nonsense. It is the ECHR questioning the UK Supreme Court, the final court in the UK, on their decision(s) where it is alleged acts by the UK Gov are incompatible with the EConHR. Nothing more and the outcome of this will be swift.
@TalkTV@JuliaHB1@DetentionAction An appeal can ONLY be on a point of law. Parliament is supreme and the law-maker. If the intended result or outcome of the law is not as enacted, then Parliament is entitled to amend the law, accordingly. The benefiters are legal representatives seeking to circumvent the law.
