Watch the video to the end. Americans truly celebrate and applaud our legacy and cheer it. Today Big Boy 4014 rolled through Pennsylvania via Lebanon, PA. We got a good chance to see it twice. Once around the fields near a crossing at Myerstown and again at Palmyra. The crowds lined up the entire stretch whether by the rail tracks or at crossings or bridges was a sight to see. All for less than a minute to watch Big Boy whistle by.
The first public reading of the Declaration of Independence takes place in Philadelphia, summoned by the ringing of the Liberty Bell.
John Nixon conducts the reading.
If you don't already know what critical theory is, I recommend you do some independent research and figure it out.
Because, right now, literally every manmade problem in the USA is a function of critical theory.
Defeating critical theory is the most important task for American survival.
My activities are still very limited at the moment. I have been doing some writing, however–thank God.
I'm so relieved to be once again doing something creative and useful.
I have also been watching Professor Paul Kengor's The Dark Side of Marxism from @petersonacademy.
It does not feature the Marx portrayed by the woke university socialist acolytes (to put it mildly).
I interviewed @DrPaulKengor a year ago or so ago on my podcast. He's a truly engaging, creative and witty storyteller and lecturer.
It turns out that Old Karl was quite the satanic soul.
He was a parasite economically all his life, extorting continual support from his long-suffering relatives.
He wrote (and admired) purposefully demonic poetry and drama.
Most disturbing, however, was his choice of favorite quote. From Goethe's Faust, it's a line I have quoted many times, in consequence of its sheer existential horror.
It's Mephistopheles presenting his identity and central credo:
“I am the Spirit that endlessly denies!
And rightly, too; for all that comes to birth
Is fit for overthrow, as nothing worth;
Wherefore the world were better sterilized;
Thus all that's here as Evil recognized
Is gain to me, and downfall, ruin, sin.
The very element I prosper in.”
I wonder if Zohran Mamdani @NYCMayor knows of the inclination of his apparent intellectual hero?
Germany bans homeschooling outright.
Parents who tried it faced fines, prison sentences, and in some cases had their children removed from their custody.
Sweden. Greece. Croatia. France. All restrict or ban it too.
In America? Legal in all 50 states. 4 million kids educated at home.
This is not a small thing.
The ability to control what your children are taught, to center their earliest years on faith, on truth, on YOUR values instead of the state's narrative...
That is not a given anywhere else on Earth.
Freedom isn't just about what you can build.
It's about what you can PROTECT.
And America is still the only country that trusts you with both.
