1. Enabling lifestyle changes is essential
2. The govt should make changes easier & cheaper
3. Action can improve wellbeing🌍
Can a virtual reality game convince people to go easy on the antibiotics? 💊 @APlechata , Guido Makransky and @robert_bohm find big increases in intentions to be prudent w/ antibiotics after a VR experience. This could help combat antimicrobial resistance. https://t.co/3qHSZvMNpD
🚨 New paper alert! 🚨
Our paper on the effectiveness of experiential VR-based communication in promoting prudent antibiotic use is out! 🦠💊🎮

Much like our previous study on promoting climate-friendly eating, we found that increased efficacy beliefs explain the impact of experiential communication. (https://t.co/60Lewr8Agm) (4/5)
Environmental and climate communication may need to shift away from traditional information-based techniques and embrace methods that allow for immersive, experiential engagement. (4/4) #metaverse
🌿 Exciting News! 🌍 Our latest research article on promoting pro-environmental behavior is out now! We explore experiential climate communication vs. standard info-based approaches, comparing two VR-based conditions. 🎮(1/4) https://t.co/qAKf6NGg2Q
Our study highlights the power of experiential communication in shaping efficacy beliefs. Experiencing the impact of our choices firsthand—both positive and negative—on the environment is far more impactful than simply receiving information about it. (3/4) #ClimateAction
