I was thinking of giving up my plot, just not been feeling it recently but walked around and realise how much I have done in 2 years.Going to focus on more perennial fruit& veg& cut flowers.Asparagus finally taking off, year 2 since grown from seed.Hoping to harvest next year 🤞

The cucumbers and the runner beans may have been killed off by the heat but the sunflowers, rudbeckia, cosmos, dill and statice (my fav 😍) are fine, not watered at all and so many tomatoes now!

My first cabbage 😀 literally planted as a tiny plug plant, covered, forgot about and this is the first time I have removed the cover!
& more flowers - california poppies look great growing but not on the list again for cut flowers, too delicate, cosmos I will grow again though

Left some ragwort to grow at the side of the plot, the cinnabar caterpillars always show up, easy to spot😀

Nice surprise at the allotment, my Dad has made me a bench and dropped it off so I have somewhere nice to sit 😍.Made of pallet wood!
