BREAKING: Iran has directly rejected Donald Trump's claim that Tehran agreed to end its nuclear program, dismissing U.S. military threats as "psychological tactics" aimed at manipulating markets and masking Washington's weakness, per Mehr News.
"The U.S. is not in a position to attack us militarily. These threats are more psychological cover for failure than operational strategy,"
Iran's defence minister said.
Trump has threatened to "obliterate" Iran five times in recent months — only to back down each time:
· March: 48-hour deadline extended
· April: "Stone Age" threat → ceasefire
· June: Called off strike hours before
· July: Held off on "probable" deal
· Today (Aug 2): "Locked & loaded" → halts attacks a day later
Each threat was followed by a market spike, a last-minute offer, and a retreat. The pattern critics have labeled "TACO" (Trump Always Chickens Out) has become a predictable cycle.
