The @AntarcticPress app had a successful launch on iOS and Android, and I'm hard at work on the first major update. On the backend, I'm working on changes to increase performance and future proof it against growth. On the front end, we'll be introducing free samples, which you can read front to back on the app without a subscription or login. Exciting stuff!

The dual platform launch for @AntarcticPress' brand new mobile app is complete. Check it out on Android and iOS, and support indie artists and developers!

This project involved a solo effort from scratch, including architecture, oAuth, back and front end, database, storage, pub/sub messaging, cloud functions, devops, QA, UI and UX, configuring In App purchases for both Apple and Google, and managing closed and internal testing. And this is only for version 1.0.

We're already planning and talking about the next iterations, with one of the talking points being adding creator owned work and featuring them. We think we're in a solid place with this first release, but there's a lot of room for growth and improvement.
