Today, we celebrated local DC.
Beautiful celebrations of community and America 250 in our nation’s capital—We love our annual Capitol Hill and Palisades Parades!
Local parades are a great way to celebrate the 4th of July in DC. ❤️
We're excited to come together this Saturday to celebrate in our vibrant, beautiful neighborhoods:
10AM: Barracks Row Parade
11AM: Palisades Day Parade
Bring water, wear sunscreen, and we'll see you there!
In observance of Independence Day, DC Government services and office hours will be modified today, July 3, and Saturday, July 4.

Prepare for this year's 4th of July events to look different than previous years:
• More events
• More road closures
• More boating/water restrictions
• Security screening for the National Mall and Anacostia Park
• Fireworks show will be later and longer
• Frequent flyovers
Of course, we can also expect the same great traditions, too: like our beautiful local parades in Barracks Row and the Palisades.
Plan ahead, stay safe, and let's enjoy our beautiful city.
This week, the voters of the District of Columbia made their voices heard. They chose change and a new direction for our city. Congratulations to the Democratic Nominee for Mayor @Janeese4DC!
In 2022 Bowser was the incumbent but White had name recognition and was seen as the progressive candidate. I think hats off to a dynamic candidate and an incredible ground game @Ward3Matthew and @DiegoFJauregui
