When I entered, I understood the rules and accepted that voting and fundraising would be part of the process. While I personally believe that art is best judged on creativity, originality, and the connection it creates with people, I respect the format of the competition.
What I've gained from this experience is far greater than a placement or a title. I've met amazing people, connected with supporters from around the world, and learned how to share my work in an authentic way.
Many friends have reminded me that a competition doesn't define an artist. Art is a lifelong journey, and recognition earned through dedication, imagination, and persistence often takes time.
No matter what happens on Thursday, I remain proud of my work and grateful for every person who voted, shared my story, encouraged me, or simply took the time to look at my art.
Thank you for believing in me. This experience has only strengthened my commitment to creating, growing, and staying true to who I am as an artist.

Yesterday was an unforgettable experience in downtown Vancouver during the FIFA World Cup 2026 festivities. I stopped by the library to print my QR codes and then spent the day on Granville Street sharing my artwork with people from around the world.
Along the way, I met a visitor from Qatar, made meaningful new connections, and celebrated creativity while introducing others to my work. Every conversation reminded me why art matters—it has the power to bring people together across cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.
