@_PrezDez_@aGarcha123@Sheridanblog@kylamb8 Yes that I agree with. But then the argument wouldn’t be “2 for 1” it would be extending the game by getting more possessions through fouling
@Johnny_photog@PippisFather@KCzhyro@Sheridanblog I do think a quick open 3 in rhythm was a good play. And I agree that you should extend the game. However IMHO if he missed more likely they would extend the game by fouling not by playing out the possession
@PippisFather@KCzhyro@Sheridanblog@Johnny_photog They didn’t really get a 2 for 1, .7 seconds is not a quality possession. I guess the proper way to say it is it was too late to guarantee another good possession.
@_kaboosky@Sheridanblog@Johnny_photog I do agree a quick shot is good if you are open and confident. Because if you miss it you can foul and extend the game. I don’t think they would have run out the clock on defense, they would have played the foul game
@PippisFather@KCzhyro@Sheridanblog@Johnny_photog He shot it because he was open and felt confident. It was too late for a 2 for 1, even if you force the miss it’s hard to count on getting the rebound and time out in time with only a 2 second differential in shot clock. Spurs probably foul if the 3 doesn’t go in
@OSproates@Sheridanblog@kylamb8 You are forgetting about the time it takes for the ball to actually go in or miss and the time it takes to get the rebound. As it stood Spurs forced the miss after thunder took all the clock and only had 0.7 seconds left for a shot. If wemby had missed the 3 spurs probably foul
