BREAKING: In a devastating speech, iconic actor Robert De Niro rips Donald Trump to shreds, declaring that Trump is “not a bad man,” but “an evil one” who is a “wanna be tough guy” and has “no morals or ethics.”

But Robert De Niro didn’t stop there…

De Niro continued:

“Trump has no sense of right or wrong. No regard for anyone but himself — not the people he was supposed to lead and protect, not the people he does business with, not the people who follow him, blindly and loyally, not even the people who consider themselves his “friends.” He has contempt for all of them.

The repercussions of his turbulent presidency divided America and rattled New York City beyond imagination.  Remember how we were jolted by crisis in early 2020, as a virus swept the world.

We lived with Donald Trump’s bombastic behavior every day on the national stage, and we suffered as we saw our neighbors piling up in body bags.

The man who was supposed to protect this country put it in peril, because of his recklessness and impulsiveness. It was like an abusive father ruling the family by fear and violent behavior.  That was the consequence of New York’s warning getting ignored. Next time, we know it will be worse.

Make no mistake: the twice-impeached, 4-time indicted Donald Trump is still a fool. But we can’t let our fellow Americans write him off like one. Evil thrives in the shadow of dismissive mockery, which is why we must take the danger of Donald Trump very seriously.

So, today I issue another warning.

From this place where Abraham Lincoln spoke — right here in the beating heart of New York — to the rest of America:

This is our last chance.

Democracy won’t survive the return of a wannabe dictator.

And it won’t overcome evil if we are divided.

So what do we do about it?  We have to take today into tomorrow – take it outside these walls.   We have to reach out to the half of our country who have ignored the hazards of Trump and, for whatever reason, support elevating him back into the White House.  They’re not stupid, and we must not condemn them for making a stupid choice.  Our future doesn’t just depend on us. It depends on them.

Let’s reach out to Trump’s followers with respect.  Let’s not talk about “democracy.” 

“Democracy” may be our holy grail, but to others it is just a word, a concept, and in their embrace of Trump, they’ve already turned their backs on it.  Let’s talk about right and wrong.  Let’s talk about humanity.  Let’s talk about kindness.  Security for our world.  Safety for our families.  Decency.  Let’s welcome them back.  We won’t get them all, but we can get enough to end the nightmare of Trump.”

BREAKING: Trump is hit with devastating news as over 20,000 Nevada Christians sign a petition demanding that Las Vegas cancel plans to hold a pro-Trump rally featuring Eric Trump, Alex Jones, Roseanne Barr and Michael Flynn on public property.

But it gets even worse for Trump…

The Christian leaders who launched the petition didn’t mince words in a brutal takedown, declaring that Trump and his “Reawaken America Tour” are “some of the worst examples of Christian nationalism today,” and that the “toxic” event promotes “antisemitism” and “political violence.”

But they didn’t stop there, declaring that, “Every ReAwaken America event is a toxic, two-day parade of pro-Trump preachers, MAGA celebrities, and QAnon conspiracy theorists mixing election denial, violent rhetoric, and deadly COVID-19 misinformation with baptisms and praise music — all in Jesus’ name. An event that promotes antisemitism, lies, and even outright political violence should never be welcome on public property. Let’s speak out together now and ask North Las Vegas Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown to revoke ReAwaken America’s permits and decline to rent them public facilities.”

The group concluded its takedown by declaring that “toxic nationalism has no place in a publicly owned venue,” and that the First Amendment “doesn’t protect the incitement of political violence nor obligate taxpayers to platform hate speech like antisemitism.”

BREAKING: Trump’s chances of going to prison skyrocket as CNN drops new bombshell, reveals that Trump’s lawyers failed to find and return “the classified US military document” that included Iran war plans “described by Trump on a tape in 2021.”

But it gets even worse for Trump…

CNN continues, reporting that, “The sources say that prosecutors made clear to Trump’s attorneys after issuing the subpoena that they specifically wanted the Iran document he talked about on tape as well as any material referencing classified information – like meeting notes, audio recordings or copies of the document – that may still be Trump’s possession.”

The fact that Trump’s team was unable to produce the document has Special Counsel Jack Smith and his investigators suspicious that Trump may have used the document to benefit financially — or even worse — has been turned over to a foreign adversary.

Prosecutors issued the subpoena shortly after asking a Trump aide before a federal grand jury about the audio recording of a July 2021 meeting at Trump’s golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey. On the recording, Trump acknowledges he held onto a classified Pentagon document about a potential attack on Iran.

According to CNN, “Trump’s legal team was unable to locate the document Trump mentions on the tape, the sources say, and it remains unclear if it was ever returned to the government or where it is now.

BREAKING: The European Union drops bombshell, announces that Twitter just PULLED OUT of the European Union’s voluntary code of practice against political disinformation and hate speech — a code will become law in only two months.

But it gets WAY worse for Elon Musk and Twitter…

Business Insider reports that Twitter’s “withdrawal could signal that owner Elon Musk is preparing to cease operations in Europe entirely” — which would put Twitter’s economic future at serious risk.

Adding insult to injury, the European Union Commissioner tweeted at Musk in response:

“You can run but you can't hide. Beyond voluntary commitments, fighting disinformation will be legal obligation as of August 25. Our teams will be ready for enforcement."

BREAKING: Trumper Marjorie Taylor Greene is humiliated in front of the entire country as her articles of impeachment against President Biden backfire in her face — only managing to get a measly three other members of Congress to sign on to them.

BREAKING: FOX “News” and Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy are humiliated as the Republican-led House Ethics Committee announces that its 2-year investigation into California Democratic Congressman Eric Swalwell found “no wrongdoing” on Congressman Swalwell’s part when he briefly met a woman who turned out to possibly be a Chinese spy.

The investigation found that Swalwell acted properly when he immediately ended the relationship and cooperated with the FBI upon finding out.

That’s right. House Republicans wasted million dollars of taxpayer dollars on a nothing-burger cooked up by the propagandists at FOX “News” — and Congressman Swalwell ended up being totally cleared by their own investigation today.

Swalwell just responded to the announcement:

“Nearly ten years ago, I assisted the FBI in their counterintelligence investigation of a campaign volunteer. The case and my assistance were briefed to Republican Speaker of the House, John Boehner, and two years later, Republican Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, re-appointed me to the House Intelligence Committee. Neither Speaker questioned my actions nor politicized my cooperation. Despite the FBI repeatedly saying I was nothing but helpful and never accused of wrongdoing, this complaint was filed by a House Republican. ... If the intent in bringing this complaint and leveling false smears was to silence me that is not going to happen. I will continue to be a voice on behalf of my constituents and a passionate defender of democracy."
