World Day for Audiovisual Heritage is a reminder of the invaluable role audiovisual archives play in preserving our cultural history. As technology advances, it’s crucial to remember that behind every carefully curated collection is the creativity and expertise of archivists.

Brecht Declercq, President of FIAT/IFTA, raises an important concern about the rise of AI. While AI has immense potential, we must not lose sight of the human touch in archival research and curation.
