UPDATE ON DR. GANIYAT POPOOLA - NMA PRESIDENT MEETS WITH NATIONAL SECURITY OPERATIVES
In our ongoing commitment to ensuring the safe return of Dr. Ganiyat Popoola, who has been held captive for over 8 months, the NMA President, along with the 1st Vice President, held a positive and productive meeting with operatives from the office of the National Security Adviser. During the meeting, they were briefed on the progress of the rescue operation and received reassuring updates that Dr. Ganiyat is alive and that all efforts are focused on bringing her back home safely.
The security team requested our understanding, emphasizing that the sensitive nature of the operation limits the amount of information that can be shared publicly. In a related development, the NMA President also met with the leadership of NMA Kaduna, who visited his office to discuss the ongoing efforts.
