@Acosta The GOP cowardice is staggering. Wed was awful—but new? Hardly. Think Charlottesville. Only now, with his power (and usefulness) running out-do we see (mostly self-serving) dissent. Imagine the lives that could have been saved had these people acted earlier.
@AaronBlake Aaron— I enjoy your reporting a lot. But your take on the school bombing misses the point. Trump doesn’t lack a clear understanding of what happened — he’s just plain lying. What, he knew it was a “Tomahawk” that hit the school but nothing else? Give me a break.
@harryjsisson Hmmm. In 2003 Trump was not a political figure, oh, and he was still a registered Democrat —so who exactly “forged” his signature, and to what end? Time to find a better excuse.
@RozenbergTomer @KamalaHQ Put it this way: consider everything Trump has said recently to get your vote. Whether you are an R,D or I, name one actual proposal he has made that would make your life better. BS, lies, identifying problems with no fixes and calling America a “garbage can” are not policies.
@GeorgeTakei George, that’s a wonderful perspective. I sure hope (and I believe you are right about the outcome). It is disheartening though that roughly half the country wants to go backward. And who that half is…
@JenXFreeman @stuartpstevens The problem is, if he’s pardoned he will scream that the whole thing was a hoax— he has to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. At least Nixon went quietly—don’t recall him ever saying Ford pardoned him because he was innocent all along. Trump can’t do “quietly”.
@DanielMillerEsq@djrothkopf Correct. The guy who has a Nazi to his home for dinner? Will blame Jews if he loses? Jews who say “Trump is good for Israel”? Think again. Trump is good for Trump. The Biden admin provided more financial support to Israel than any other in history—the GOP delayed aid to Israel.
@AllanAwake@ThePoliticalHQ Who cares? Look at her rating now. In case you didn’t notice, she’s running for president now and she mopped the floor with your Dear Fuhrer during the debate.
@timber001@ThePoliticalHQ Well, I’ll let her speak for herself but I read fact she left IA red as discounting the Selzer poll— but it’s trend line re older women is consistent with EV data elsewhere — hence my reference to “indicative”. In what appears to be a close election this is material.
@KamalaHQ What’s most remarkable about this is his assertion that he called his wife “First Lady” in a conversation with her. Really? Imagine any president in history doing such a thing — what, did he forget her name (seems like a plausible explanation.
