I honestly don’t understand how Atiku Abubakar plans to bring back fuel subsidy without Nigerians returning to the long queues we experienced at filling stations.

If he believes subsidy can be restored under today’s petroleum market without creating fuel scarcity, smuggling, supply distortions or another burden on public finances, then Nigerians deserve a clear explanation.

How exactly will it work, who will fund it, and how will he guarantee that fuel queues will not return?

The Kano Free Trade Zone is steadily emerging as a major engine of economic growth, industrialisation and job creation in the state.

Between January and August 2026 alone, the Zone created an estimated 3,000–5,000 direct jobs and generated more than ₦36 billion in customs revenue.

Beyond the numbers, this represents something bigger: more businesses, more opportunities for young people, stronger economic activity and increased revenue for government.

With the right investments, infrastructure and policy support, the Kano Free Trade Zone can become one of Northern Nigeria’s most important industrial and commercial hubs; attracting investors, expanding local production and creating thousands more jobs in the years ahead.
