@TXinfinity2004 Estoy de acuerdo.
@Ichigo_WD Even if he was magically allowed to have a peaceful life from now on, he would still search for ways to be CSM, and if he was allowed to CSM as much as he wants he would still search ways to connect humanly with other people.
It's two parallel compulsions that cancel each other.
@Ichigo_WD I think you are agreeing with Fujimoto/Pochita here.
The symbol and the human can't coexist in the way Denji wants because he vehemently desires both ordinary intimacy and extraordinary significance. This contradiction has not solution except by removing the source of conflict.
@somoslovest | @HernanSCastillo
@MEATMAAAAN Ngl, I thought it was positive at the time, like a declaration of freedom
But the story shows the truth.
The problem is people being so fixed on their interpretations, and refusing to change them when new information is presented. It's kinda arrogant.
@genospsychosis I understand you, but I believe Part 2 is not trying to undo Part 1. It's showing the other side of the coin.
Part 1 punished Denji for his contentment, while Part 2 punishes him for his ambition.
The ending lefts him at a place where a satisfying middle ground is possible.
@Cigar_42 I agree at that, part 1 ending is way more satisfying than part 2 (and better overall).
But I believe it's intentional. Part 1 sells you the fantasy, but part 2 brings you the bill. There is a cost to freedom.
Contentment (Part 1) ruins Denji as much as ambition (Part 2).
@genospsychosis Life satisfaction is internal, and the external only an influence.
But no amount of internal work makes you immune to the world.
And no amount of external achievement guarantees internal peace. Life it's in the in-between
The loopback is intentional. Same start, different mind.
@genospsychosis You are missing the forest for the tree. Denji life conditions changed constantly, to better and for worse, but he remained unsatisfied. The ending aims at that, not at the material.
It's about the inner-self relationship to the external, not the exact logistics of it.

@Cigar_42 You are missing the point hugely.
