But then you see a story like a little boy in Mexico who couldn't afford a soccer jersey, so he wore a Christmas sweater to support his team. Someone shared the photo, it went viral, and the team found him and got him a jersey.
For all the negativity online, there are still moments that remind us what social media can be at its best: people helping people.
