The UK's first constructed wetland for full treatment was installed on a Severn Trent site in the village of Hulland Ward in Derbyshire (population 910).

Phragmifiltre wetlands have no pre-settlement. The raw sewage is pumped onto the first stage reed beds, where it dewaters and mineralises, with storage capacity >10 years, thereby reducing costs of transportation and further treatment of sludge effluent. https://t.co/XkgY3d4uqQ
