being carried away from the World Trade Center on September 11th by the firefighters he came to pray for.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, Father Judge rushed from his friary at St. Francis of Assisi Church to the World Trade Center.

After he entered the lobby of the North Tower, he refused to leave while first responders remained inside. He spent his final moments praying for the victims. 🙏🏼
