Global Citizen es una organización internacional enfocada en combatir la pobreza extrema, el cambio climático y las crisis humanitarias alrededor del mundo mediante campañas y acciones sociales globales.

BTS ha colaborado con Global Citizen en iniciativas relacionadas con:
• cambio climático
• salud mental
• ayuda humanitaria
• acción juvenil global

Uno de los momentos más importantes fue su participación en Global Citizen Live con “Permission to Dance” desde Seúl.

Además, #JungKook hizo historia en 2023 al convertirse en el PRIMER solista surcoreano en encabezar el Global Citizen Festival en Nueva York.

BTS’s March 21 performance includes a walk toward Gwanghwamun Square. Gwanghwamun is not a neutral backdrop. Walking toward it brings royal history, political power & the memory of mass protests into the performance before Arirang begins. Movement becomes part of the meaning

1. Arirang as a Walking Song

Arirang is as a song people could sing while walking.

This matters environmentally because walking is one of the most sustainable ways of moving.

Arirang comes from a time when people adjusted themselves to the land, not the other way around.
