OCI kids were treated in par with IC through out their schooling and suddenly they are treated as NRIs when their parents are working and paying taxes in India! They were treated in par with IC till 2020 that suddenly changed!
#PravasiBhartiyaDivas2023 GoI/MHA published a gazette notification in Mar’21 which deprived meritorious admission to various professional degrees to all OCI kids studying in India by birth (12+ years of studies). This was a sudden break without giving any advance notice. #1/2
